Hi everyone, I want to share our latest successful U.S.A kitten rescue.
We flew to Florida May 17th (2019) and next day went to some local shelters because we are always looking for kittens in desperate need of fostering and/or a new home. We found Bonnie in a local Pet supermarket (not petsmart). Generally this places have big spaces for the cats to walk and climb, play, run around a little bit and show their cute faces on the windows. BUT to our surprise Bonnie was not that lucky. We found out she was a baby foster until she was about a month old and right after her siblings were all adopted she and her mom ended up in this pet store incarcerated for almost 2 months straight. The cage she shared with big mamma “Pepper” was about 50x60x40. The only time she was taken out was (not even to clean the cage) but to be spayed. Our poor little girl went into surgery with less than 2 months old. For us enough was enough and we decided to take her home with us. The first night she spent in the bedroom with us she couldn’t stop running and jumping like crazy from bed to bed to the point of hyperventilating (caused by restricted movement inside the cage for such a long time).

A few days later (after being vet check and travel ready) little miss sunshine from sunny Miami made it to the Netherlands safe and sound and she enjoys all the space to play, scratch, jump and run around she can get.
After a lot of effort and hard work on our behalf Bonnie is finally getting used to a stable home and other animals (even she is a kitten she was highly aggressive towards other cats and dogs). We are very happy with her progress and looking forward to what the future holds for this beauty full of life and love.
We love every minute of you little Bonnet!!
